Gareth Jones died tragically in a road accident, aged 23, on 28 January 2026, to the profound grief of all who knew and loved him.  

He leaves to mourn his parents, Barbara Vogt and Stephen Jones, and his brother, Clover Jones, in Cowansville, Québec. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family in France, Britain, and Italy, particularly his grandmother, Simone Vogt; his aunt and uncles, Philippa Jones, Gordon Jones (late Carole Follette), and Lionel Vogt (Deirdre O’Donoghue); and his cousins, Laura (Richard Felton), Harry, Chloé, and Léa.  

Gareth’s funeral will be held on Sunday 8 March 2026 at the
