Passed away peacefully in Bedford, on August 23rd, 2025, at the age of 89, lifelong resident of Stanbridge East, son of late Elwin Boomhower and late Adaline Sharp and father to the late Penny Boomhower.

He is survived by his sons Michael and Keith (Janic Benoit), his grandchildren Megan (Maxime Côté), Jacob, Sarah, Kayla, Jasmine, Haley (Joshua Barnett), Tamara et Cédric, his sister Barbara, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Friends and family are welcome to come share memories and laughter at the family farm (77 Beartown Road, Stanbridge East, QC) Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1 to 2:30pm. Celebration of his life will start at 2:30pm. Food and refreshments will follow. 

The family would like to thank the Bedford CHSLD for the great care a special attention Joe received.
